Rolling with Tradition
Bocce originated in Italy and is one of the oldest lawn bowling games.
The City of Trail, in conjunction with the Italico Society, offers the Bocce Facility in Trail’s historic gulch.
The facility offers covered bocce pits and other amenities for the perfect bocce tournament or other gatherings. The Bocce Facility was built by a group of dedicated volunteers from the Italian community, with the assistance of the City of Trail and the provincial government in the late 1990s after a flood destroyed the West Trail Park Bocce Lanes that were established in the 1980s.
